ABOUT GEVA

Hi, I’m Geva. I’m a certified wellness practitioner, author, and educator living in sunny Florida. My work centers on helping people build and maintain a strong foundation for resilience — especially women over 40 who are navigating stress, hormonal shifts, emotional overwhelm, and the general chaos of modern life. I believe mental wellness is something we can build and return to, no matter what life brings.

My Story
Modern life has never made sense to me. I grew up in the country with a deep and abiding love for nature. I left home early and experienced the profound stress that comes from hustle culture. In college, I studied biochemistry in an attempt to understand my own internal systems and rhythms. Later, in graduate school, I studied international policy in an attempt to understand the world. Professionally, I spent over a decade in nonprofit management and then after profound burnout, there came a moment when I realized life just wasn't working. I took a year off to completely change my life. I wrote Center of Gravity about that experience.
In 2016, in an effort to get a fresh perspective, I travelled in Europe for three months. There, I experienced a completely different view of what living meant. There was a slower pace of life and an emphasis on enjoying it, a focus on connection, and beauty. I came back recharged and with a commitment to help Americans experience a different way of living. With the help of a partner, Creative Connection was born, a company dedicated to helping people helping people connect to themselves and each other.
Over the years, I’ve worked with people in some of the most challenging circumstances imaginable — felons rebuilding their lives, veterans navigating trauma, and individuals in psychiatric hospital seeking stability and hope. I also worked in a beautiful resort where all kinds of people came to relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy themselves. Eventually, it became clear to me that mental wellness practices aren’t just for crisis. They’re for everyone trying to stay sane and steady in a chaotic world and what emerged was a new understanding of mental wellness: not as a mood or a personality trait, but as a renewable internal resource, a state you can return to again and again.
My Philosophy
Mental wellness is the state of being - one that is calm, clear, grounded, and hopeful — even when life is challenging. It’s not about perfection. It’s not about constant positivity. It’s not about eliminating stress or struggle. It’s about building the internal conditions that allow you to feel steady, nourished, and emotionally resilient.
